Model Windmill Features
Our replica windmills are crafted with exceptional attention to detail. They feature a screwed construction, direct-action drive shaft, and a self-reefing tail that regulates the fan speed in high winds by pulling the fan out of the wind, thereby slowing it down and ensuring authenticity.
Our pumping model windmill can be utilized to circulate water in garden features such as fishponds and fountains, while the non-pumping windmill can be retrofitted with a mini windmill water pump at a later stage.
Construction and Materials
The fan and tower components of the miniature windmill water pump are laser cut from galvanised steel sheet metal. The bright galvanised finish will become dull over time, but the galvanised steel will provide protection from rust for many years in the harsh Australian conditions.
Galvanised Steel and Finished Details
The pumping windmills, including our mini windmill water pump, come with a 2” pump driven directly by the windmill head via the pump rod. It has a 19mm barb connection at the bottom of the pump to connect to the ‘Tank on Stand’ or other water sources such as a pond.
